La promoción de Almería como destino turístico diferenciado en la costa mediterránea andaluza y española se va a englobar con un lema muy peculiar, ‘Enamorados de Almería’, que se va a dar a conocer en todo el mundo a través de Internet, del portal web www.turismodealmeria.org , donde se crearán espacios propios de promoción y se propiciará el intercambio de experiencias.
También se va a difundir a través de redes sociales como Facebook o Twitter, donde los visitantes van a poder compartir sus experiencias en torno a la ciudad y donde van a recibir información de interés sobre actividades y eventos para compartirlas con los diferentes admiradores. La ciudad se va a promocionar a través de Youtube, la mayor plataforma de vídeo del mundo; de Myspace, compartiendo información cultural como archivos musicales o sonidos; y a través del canal ‘Almería Map’, donde se incluirán numerosas rutas de senderismo, con todo tipo de detalles y documentación para llevarlas a cabo.
La ciudad se va a hacer presente, además, en el canal de presentaciones ‘Slideshare’; y en el de publicaciones ‘Scribd’, así como en ‘Issuu’, donde se van a ofertar folletos turísticos, guías, mapas, y también numerosas recopilaciones de imágenes de los lugares más pintorescos de la ciudad. Además, en ‘Flickr’ se va a crear un canal de imágenes, dos grupos de trabajo y un espacio donde el Ayuntamiento colocará sus propias instantáneas. Dentro de las numerosas acciones de promoción previstas, se incluye la creación de un canal propio ‘Enamorados de Almería’ para que fotógrafos de renombre puedan compartir imágenes de la ciudad.
La difusión de la ciudad y de sus atractivos culturales, de ocio y entretenimiento, y por supuesto de su rica y variada gastronomía, se va a hacer visible en diferentes foros, principalmente en los de viajeros como ‘Tripadvisor’, ‘Viajeros.com’, ‘Los Viajeros’ y ‘Geoplaneta’.
Almería estará presente así en los más importantes canales interactivos del mundo en Internet, lo que supone una gran ventaja competitiva a la hora de poder llegar a un vasto y amplio número de personas en todo el mundo, la mayoría de ellas interesadas en compartir información que les permita conocer mejor el destino para visitarlo.
