The Fair in honour of the Virgen de Mar (Our Lady of the Seas) is the feast of feasts for Almeria and our visitors. Celebrated in the middle of August, the Fair is the meeting point for the people of Almeria who live in the four corners of the globe and for the visitors who wish to get to know the welcoming spirit of the people of Almeria. Apart from the Fair, there are a number of celebrations that blend festive Andalucian spirit with the open Mediterranean character.
