The Auditorium Maestro Padilla is an open space to the Mediterranean sea and the promenade of the city. Built in 1992 with an unmistakable ‘Moneo’ style, it is a covered theatre-type enclosure, being the public-scene relationship fixed front. Located in an enclave that joins the most cosmopolitan part of Almeria with the tranquility of the sea, this building has three rooms to hold events of any scope and capacity for 1,190 people. The activities developed are very varied from opera performances, theater, congresses and exhibitions, for which there are two galleries. The hall of greater capacity, the central one, has space to accommodate 950 participants. Next to these spaces, the Maestro Padilla has a gallery designed to hold all kinds of exhibitions. It has its own free parking inside the enclosure.
