The charm of a white village in a mountain chasm looking face to face with the sea, has become, over the years, a meeting point for tourists from around the world. Mojacar is today one of the most popular tourist destinations in Almería and Andalusia, thanks to its complete hotel and leisure facilities, which are mixed with the mystery of its typical white-clad streets and attractive beaches, not to mention the strength of their Moors and Christians Festival held annually in June, which re-enacts the confrontation between Kabila and the people of the town.
